Sorin Șipoș, pro-rector of the University of Oradea, will be awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the State University of Moldova on August 29, the Romanian Language Day. The award recognizes his outstanding scientific contributions and the 17-year collaboration between the two institutions. Șipoș is recognized for his research in the medieval history of Transylvania and for his involvement in the development of academic relations between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. He also has an extensive portfolio of published works, including 50 monographs and 140 scientific articles.
