Children with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova will benefit, starting from June 2026, from a one-time financial aid of 3000 lei, according to a draft law voted in the first reading by Parliament. The support will be granted annually, automatically, without the need to submit an application, and will reach over 13,500 children. Authorities claim that the measure aims to support families that incur additional expenses for care, rehabilitation, and social integration, and over 41 million lei from the state budget will be allocated for the implementation of the project.
