During the meeting, the positive bilateral relations between Moldova and the Vatican were discussed, as well as the situation of peace and security at the local and international level, with a focus on developments in Ukraine. Additionally, Sandu had a meeting with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who emphasized the importance of strengthening the relations between the two entities.
