A large-scale operation of searches has been launched in the Republic of Moldova, involving over 250 actions targeting individuals suspected of preparing for coordinated unrest and destabilizations from the Russian Federation. The reaction of former president Igor Dodon, leader of the PSRM, was to accuse the current government of intimidation ahead of the parliamentary elections on September 28. He denounced the actions as an attempt to silence the opposition, without specifying whether the targeted individuals are only members of the PSRM or also of other political formations.
