Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, announced that the authorities have managed to block cryptocurrency wallets worth 107 million dollars, intended for pro-Russian parties in the country. This action is part of a broader strategy by Russia to undermine the stability of Moldova, involving networks that seek to buy political influence and organize violent protests.

Popșoi emphasized collaboration with Romania, the United States, and the European Union to protect the electoral infrastructure, thus preventing possible Russian attacks during the elections. He stated that the Moldovan authorities have become more proactive in the face of external threats.
