In the period from July to September 2025, Maia Sandu received 24 protocol gifts, totaling 57,000 lei. The most valuable gift was a gold-plated roller pen from the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. Other notable gifts included an art book from Pope Leo XIV and a porcelain bowl from the Chancellor of Germany. Among the gifts were also artisanal souvenirs, a cashmere scarf, and an embroidered tablecloth from the Ambassador of Belarus.
