On the occasion of Independence Day and Romanian Language Day, the Republic of Moldova will receive visits from four European leaders. On August 27, 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will join President Maia Sandu in Chisinau. They will hold press statements and attend a concert dedicated to Independence Day. On August 31, Romanian President Nicușor Dan will visit, underlining European support for Moldova.
