The Republic of Moldova celebrates 35 years since the declaration of independence. Event program

On August 27, Chișinău celebrates the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, with an official program starting at 08:30, featuring flower laying at the "Mother of the Grieving" monument and at the monument of Ștefan cel Mare. The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will be present, having meetings with Maia Sandu and participating in the military parade in the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN) at 16:45. The parade will include over 2,000 soldiers from the Republic of Moldova and nine other countries, showcasing over 100 units of military equipment. At 18:00, there will be a concert dedicated to Independence Day, featuring local artists such as Adriana Babin, Zdob și Zdub, and many others.

A military parade will also take place in the town of Bălți, marking an important moment for the local community.
