Viktor Orban published a message on the X platform, congratulating Nicușor Dan on his success in the Romanian presidential elections, where he won 53.6% of the votes. Orban stressed the importance of cooperation between Hungary and Romania for the benefit of both peoples. At the same time, Orban was criticized by Hungarian opposition leader Peter Magyar for supporting the ideas of George Simion, Dan's opponent.
