USR Senator Ștefan Pălărie discussed the reform of judges' pensions, emphasizing that there is no interference in justice, considering that the average pension of judges is twice as high as that of Romanians. He called on the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) to issue a quick opinion so that the law can be adopted in Parliament.

Pălărie mentioned that the reform was the result of a political consensus and that the goal is to reduce the temptation of early retirement. He also emphasized the importance of completing the reforms from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) to ensure the entry of funds into the economy. The senator recalled previous tensions in Parliament related to pension reforms and criticized the unfair increases proposed in the past.
