The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Transport, Horațiu Cosma, accuses the general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, of delaying highway and express road projects by contesting in court the ministerial order that transfers them to CNIR.

Cosma emphasizes that the Ministry of Transport has a legal obligation to transfer these projects, according to OUG 55/2016, and that failure to fulfill this obligation could lead to financial losses for Romania. He mentions that CNAIR should focus on maintaining the existing infrastructure, and the purpose of the reform is to implement projects more quickly and efficiently.

Cosma lists projects affected by delays, such as the A4 Highway and DN1 Brașov-Făgăraș, and accuses Pistol's refusal of causing artificial delays.
