According to the transcripts, during Monday's meeting of the PNL leadership, Adrian Veștea admitted that he did not inform Ilie Bolojan in advance about Nicușor Dan's proposal.

"There are things I reproach myself for, that I didn't manage to have a discussion with you. But that was the sequence of events. My wife found out 10 minutes before. I have two boys at home and one is in session, I am going through very difficult moments seeing what is happening, I am constantly attacked. For me, family is extremely important. I am not upset with anyone, I will not insult you, I will not be hostile," said Adrian Veștea.

He stated that he intends to propose Nazare for the position of Minister of Finance, emphasizing that this government program is one he fully assumes. Although he has not yet had a direct discussion with Nazare, Veștea believes that it is an act of courage and responsibility to accept this position.

He announced that the vote of investiture for the new Government could take place on Wednesday and requested a calm approach from his colleagues.
