The AUR party and the Romania's Peace group have introduced a series of simple motions in Parliament, which will be debated by the Senate on Monday afternoon.
The first motion criticizes the way the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, represented Romania in the negotiations for the EU-Mercosur agreement, citing risks for Romanian agriculture. The second motion targets the Minister of Defense, Radu Miruţă, accused of "compromising the credibility of Romania's defense policy through irresponsible statements and lack of strategic analysis." The third motion challenges the educational direction under the interim of Ilie Bolojan, warning about the risks to the funding of the educational system.
At the same time, USR has called for the "Government Hour," where the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, will provide clarifications about the drinking water crisis in Argeș.
