Adrian Veștea's government did not gather the necessary number of votes to be invested, after the AUR parliamentarians left the room.
The Veștea government received only 189 votes out of the 233 needed.
Moreover, although the voting was still ongoing, immediately after the AUR parliamentarians left the room, George Simion wrote on his Facebook page that "The Veștea/Nicușor government has failed the vote".
Social Democrat Marian Neacșu, proposed for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Veștea government, claimed on Monday evening, before the actual vote, that "about 240" votes had been secured, while the government needed at least 233 votes to pass.
