The simple motion against the Minister of Investments, Dragoș Pîslaru, was rejected by the Senate, with 42 votes 'for' and 73 'against'. During the debate, Pîslaru highlighted the government's achievements in managing European funds, mentioning that Romania has saved the non-reimbursable amount of 13.57 billion euros.

He explained that he simplified the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), reducing the number of milestones from 518 to 385, which increased the efficiency of investments. The minister announced that, for payment requests 3 and 4, Romania could collect 3 billion euros, emphasizing the importance of closing the milestone regarding the reform of special pensions.

Additionally, Pîslaru mentioned that he hopes to recover over 400 million euros from the amounts suspended by the European Commission. Payment request 4, worth 2.62 billion euros, is now a priority for the ministry. The opposition submitted the motion titled 'Dragoș Pîslaru, Cioloș's technocrat and the ministry without results', but it was unsuccessful.
