Extraordinary session at the Senate, between July 27 and 31, for voting on the projects from the PNRR

The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, announced the convening of the meetings of the Permanent Bureau and the Committee of Leaders for Wednesday at 11:00 AM, in view of initiating the procedure for convening the Senate in an extraordinary session, scheduled between July 27-31.

During this session, the legislative projects necessary for fulfilling the milestones assumed by Romania through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) will be debated and voted on. The agenda includes the decision project regarding the convening of the extraordinary session and the establishment of the work program.

This initiative comes in the context in which the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu, announced the convening of an extraordinary session of Parliament starting July 27. PNL has requested the convening of Parliament for the adoption of six essential legislative projects for the PNRR, four of which have already been submitted to Parliament.
