In the government meeting on February 12, 2026, a draft law will be approved to amend Law no. 339/2005, which aims to clarify the legal regime of preparations containing narcotic and psychotropic substances.

The project holds the pharmacist accountable and regulates preparations with multiple substances, establishing that they are subject to the regime of the strictest among them.

Additionally, Law no. 126/2018 will be amended to transpose recent European directives, ensuring transparency in financial markets.

The government will also approve a draft ordinance for alternative fuel infrastructure, in accordance with commitments made by Romania.

Other measures include changes in the field of agriculture, investments in infrastructure, and appointments of prefects, as well as the memorandum with Saudi Arabia for visa exemption for diplomatic passports.
