The Ministry of Development has published a project through which the Government intends to reduce salary expenses in public administration by 10%. This measure targets personnel expenses in central public administration, without affecting the base salaries of employees. The reduction will be achieved through institutional reorganization, reduction of bonuses, and cutting some positions. Additionally, at the level of local authorities, a reduction in the number of positions is anticipated, which will lead to an overall decrease of 10% in occupied positions within local public administration. This measure aims to optimize expenses and enhance the efficiency of public administration operations.
