The government led by Ilie Bolojan is meeting today to analyze whether it will notify the Constitutional Court (CCR) regarding a possible legal conflict with the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ÎCCJ).

The court, led by Lia Savonea, has sued the government in court for the non-payment of the amounts necessary for the settlement of outstanding salary rights, as provided in enforceable titles, due in 2026. This action came after the executive decided to redirect funds intended for the salary rights of magistrates towards social assistance for pensioners and outstanding payments of local administrations.

Additionally, another topic to be discussed in the meeting is the preparation for

new expropriations for highways.
