The Bucharest Tribunal rejected on Thursday the accusations of the PNL regarding the allocation of the case that seeks the annulment of the Congress to a former collaborator of Alina Gorghiu and denounced "pressures" on the judges. In a press release, the president of the Bucharest Tribunal, judge Cosmin Sterea-Grossu, specified that the magistrates are assigned based on specialization, in order to make justice more efficient.
The Bucharest Tribunal decided on Wednesday to provisionally suspend the execution of the Decision of the Extraordinary National Council of the PNL, which convened the Congress on June 21, 2026.
The Congress on June 21 led to a new leadership, with Bolojan at the helm, and decided to dissolve some county political offices led by liberals from the Veștea wing.
