The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, stated that the economic recovery package recently adopted represents a strategic instrument of 5 billion euros, applicable until 2032, aimed at transforming the Romanian economy by shifting from consumption to investments, innovation, and domestic production.

Nazare emphasized that the program will create a more competitive environment for investments and will attract capital both from Romanian companies and from foreign investors. It will contribute to the development of production capacities and will strengthen local economic chains, positioning Romania as a regional growth hub. The minister encouraged entrepreneurs to follow the guidelines that will be published by the Ministry of Finance and ANAF to access the support schemes. The adoption of this package comes after correcting some economic imbalances and aims to strengthen a modern economy based on investments and competitiveness. The effects of the program will translate into better-paid jobs and the development of local communities. Nazare encouraged the business environment to stay informed and collaborate with the ministry to benefit from the support offered.
