Sorin Grindeanu, the president of the Chamber of Deputies, expressed Romania's support for Spain in the face of the challenges generated by the migratory pressure at the border of the Ceuta enclave.

In a post on the social network X, Grindeanu emphasized the close ties between the two countries, highlighting that Spain has been a reliable ally for Romania, especially in the efforts related to joining the Schengen area. His message included a call for European solidarity, underscoring the importance of protecting the external borders of the European Union and the unity among member states. The crisis in Ceuta has brought to the forefront the challenges of illegal migration, and Grindeanu stressed the need for a common approach to ensure collective security in Europe. This position reflects Romania's commitment to supporting European partners in difficult times.
