Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy has announced that he will be the first US government official to meet pro-Western President Nicușor Dan after his election victory. Murphy will travel to Europe, where he will discuss strengthening relations between Romania and the US, as well as support for Ukraine. He will also give a speech in France on the impact of artificial intelligence on jobs. Murphy is an experienced foreign policy politician and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
