Romania expressed a strong protest against this act, highlighting the risks to the safety of citizens and the region.

Additionally, the MFA reminded the responsibility of the Russian Federation for the aggression against Ukraine and asserted Romania's right to take legal measures to protect its territory. Despite the incident, citizens in the affected area were not in direct danger. Romania is collaborating with allies to manage risk situations, and a Ro-Alert message was issued to inform residents of Tulcea County about possible falling objects from the sky.
