Nicușor Dan and Karol Nawrocki, joint statements before the B9 summit: "We discussed the possibility of an exchange of experience between what we are doing in the Black Sea and what Poland is doing in the Baltic Sea"

The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, had a meeting with the Polish leader Karol Nawrocki, where they discussed the bilateral agenda and cooperation in the military and security fields.

The B9 format, created in 2015 by Romania and Poland, focuses on the security of countries on the Eastern Flank, Nicușor Dan noted.

In preparation for the summit in Ankara, scheduled for two months from now, the leaders will analyze the regional security situation and the effectiveness of military preparations within NATO and the European Union. They also addressed topics such as the war in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and military collaboration, including the presence of Romanian soldiers in Poland and vice versa. The discussions also included the importance of the security of the Republic of Moldova and its integration process into the European Union, with the support of Poland. The leaders agreed that the expansion of the European Union is beneficial for both states.
