Representatives of Returo announced that, although new products such as juice, syrup, and distilled water are not considered beverages, their containers are similar to those of beverages. The bill that provides for the return of packaging for these products has been sent to the Chamber of Deputies. If adopted, the return system will remain similar to the existing one, without requiring the creation of a new system. The implementation of this project is planned for the year 2028, thus providing sufficient time for producers and traders to comply with the new regulations.
