Radu Burnete, the presidential advisor of President Nicușor Dan, stated that the president is always informed about the status of the reforms of the judiciary and public administration. These measures will be discussed next week by the governing parties. Burnete emphasized that the judiciary reform has two deadlines: one imposed by society, which has already been exceeded, and another from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with a deadline of November 28, essential to not lose 230 million euros. Regarding the administrative reform, although it does not have a deadline, it is necessary. Burnete mentioned the difficulties of discussions within the coalition, stressing that decisions related to budget cuts are complicated, but he hopes for a quick conclusion for both reforms.
