Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete has signed an order to revise the rules in units treating patients with severe burns, after complaints about lack of painkillers and hygiene.

Following serious complaints about conditions in hospitals for burn patients, Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete has signed an order to review existing regulations. He emphasized that there are no financial shortages for medicines and warned medical staff that those who do not do their duty will be fired. Controls will check stocks of painkillers and hygiene amid allegations of serious negligence, including the presence of cockroaches in hospitals.
