PSD is the first parliamentary party that enters into consultations with President Nicușor Dan regarding the appointment of a new prime minister, after the Veștea government failed to obtain the necessary votes for investiture on Monday.
The PSD delegation that will go at 1:00 PM to the consultations at the Cotroceni Palace consists of:
Sorin Grindeanu, PSD president
Claudiu Manda, PSD general secretary
Marian Neacșu, former deputy prime minister, without a leadership position in the party
Natalia Intotero, deputy, without a leadership position in the party
Doina Fedorovici, PSD vice president
PSD deputy Natalia Intotero previously stated that the party takes responsibility for governance and supports Sorin Grindeanu as the primary option for forming the new government.
The next parliamentary party to enter negotiations is AUR, at 1:30 PM, followed by PNL, led by Ilie Bolojan, who will come face to face with Nicușor Dan at 2:00 PM, who previously appointed Adrian Veștea as prime minister without consulting the party.
