Ilie Bolojan stated that he will feel a relief when he no longer occupies the position of prime minister, considering the difficulties encountered during this period. He emphasized that Romania's problems will not disappear with his departure from office and mentioned that he was not enthusiastic about taking on the responsibility of addressing these issues. Bolojan declared that he will support a balanced budget, in which expenditures should be correlated with available resources. In the context of discussions about the budget, the president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, announced that coalition leaders will meet to discuss the solidarity package proposed by PSD, which includes measures for pensioners and other vulnerable categories. Bolojan avoided responding to accusations made by coalition partners, stating that any budget proposal must come with a funding solution. Grindeanu warned that PSD will not vote for the budget if the social package is not accepted.
