Former Prime Minister Victor Ponta stated that he is looking forward to the official announcement of the ministers in the new Cabinet, appreciating that some names circulated in the public space are better prepared than the current members of the Cabinet. P


Ponta emphasized that the main issue is not represented by the nominated individuals, but by the way political decisions are made, suggesting that it no longer makes sense to vote in a context where power is concentrated at the level of the presidency. Comparing the current situation with the mandates of former presidents, he mentioned that he has not encountered such a concentration of power before. Ponta recalled Klaus Iohannis's attempts to build a favorable government and noted that, in the end, both Iohannis and Băsescu collaborated with PSD for governmental stability.


His statements come in the context of negotiations for the formation of the new Government and discussions regarding the composition of the future Cabinet.
