PNL demands the resignation of Adrian Veștea and four other members. The congress threatens with exclusion if they do not leave by Monday.

Liberal deputy Robert Sighiartău announced, during the PNL Congress, a resolution aimed at clarifying the internal situation of the party. The Congress noted that Lucian Bode, Rareș Bogdan, Adrian Veștea, Hubert Thuma, and Alina Gorghiu acted contrary to the interests of PNL, violating the obligations to defend the party's policy.

Sighiartău requested their resignation by June 22, at 12:00, emphasizing that, otherwise, the Permanent Bureau will initiate expulsion procedures. He also mentioned that Lucian Bode is responsible for the difficult financial situation of PNL at the end of his term as secretary general. This decision reflects internal tensions and the desire to restore unity and discipline within the party.
