PNL Deputy Sebastian Burduja emphasized that, in the context where over 100,000 Romanians have been left without water, there is a clear responsibility needed from the authorities. He commented on the situation of the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, following the request of PSD President, Sorin Grindeanu, to dismiss her. Burduja mentioned that the minister should analyze what decisions she could have made better and who is to blame for the water crisis.
At the same time, the leader of the AUR senators, Petrișor Peiu, announced the submission of a simple motion against Minister Buzoianu, accusing her of negligence in managing the water situation in the counties of Prahova and Dâmbovița. The motion, titled "Prahova under siege," calls for the minister's resignation for the interruption of water supply to 13 localities and the neglect of dam issues in the country.
