PNL and USR have decided to collaborate in Parliament, the interim Government, and at the consultations at the Cotroceni Palace, in response to the PSD actions perceived as destructive to good governance. The announcement was made by Ilie Bolojan and Dominic Fritz, the presidents of the two parties. This alliance will create a strong political bloc, having 133 parliamentarians, thus surpassing the number of PSD parliamentarians, which is 129. Bolojan emphasized that this partnership is a commitment to defend reforms and integrity in governance, in the face of the crisis caused by the PSD's collaboration with AUR. He stated that the purpose of the collaboration is to ensure the modernization of institutions and honesty in public office, rejecting the idea of a false stability that blocks reforms.
