Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan held consultations with trade union leaders to discuss government measures to reduce the budget deficit. He stressed the importance of constant dialogue with trade unions and employers, announcing a National Tripartite Council for Social Dialogue. Bolojan said that trade union proposals would be assessed and, if possible, included in the government's package of measures aimed at increasing economic credibility and correcting social imbalances.
