Oana Ţoiu, the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that she has been contacted by counterparts from NATO countries who expressed their support for Romania following the incursions of drones into Romanian airspace. Among the countries that offered support are Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and the Baltic states. Italy has sent four Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft and 180 military personnel to support Romania after the drone incident in Galaţi.

Ţoiu also mentioned collaboration with Canada in the field of maritime security in the Black Sea. Following recent incidents, Romania has integrated the MEROPS radar, developed by the USA, into its defense system.

"We have communicated over the past few days discussions with each of them. In fact, the public positions of support from allied countries, countries in the European Union, are also public. (...) Antonio Costa up to NATO, and I mention this because we are talking about the Council and NATO as institutions through public voices," said Oana Ţoiu.
