President Nicușor Dan was asked, on Monday evening, at Antena 3 if he is annoyed by Ilie Bolojan who did not keep his promise not to raise VAT.

"It was part of the agreement we had when the government was formed (the promise that VAT would not be raised - editor's note). Then we had a discussion, based on some calculations, with some I agreed, with others I did not agree, but the Government said this is the only way we can do it, stating that they have different data compared to what we had when we had the agreement. In politics, that's why this profession of politician exists, in politics people will never be completely aligned, everything is about the decisions you make and thinking about the consequences in the short, medium, and long term. I am not allowed to get annoyed," said Nicușor Dan.
