President Nicușor Dan declared that Romania is "on track" regarding the SAFE program, aimed at financing the military equipment of the country through European loans.

During the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum event, he emphasized that, despite the political crisis in Bucharest, pro-Western parties have no doubts about Romania's strategic obligations. Nicușor Dan mentioned that on Tuesday, in the Parliamentary Defense Committees, the final part of the SAFE agreement will be voted on, estimating that the program will bring approximately 13 billion euros to Romania through the relocation of production by companies. He highlighted the importance of collaboration among states that share the same values in the face of current challenges, emphasizing the objectives of future discussions within the B9 format and at the NATO Summit.
