President Nicușor Dan is considering names such as Eugen Tomac, Radu Burnete, and the current Minister of Finance Alexandru Nazare to form a new government, according to sources from G4Media. This could be a technocratic government that aims to obtain the votes of PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR. However, sources from PNL state that the party will not support a government that is influenced by PSD through ministers in key positions. The Liberals suspect that this government could be destined for failure, considering that Nicușor Dan might want to return to leading the coalition without Ilie Bolojan.
Eugen Tomac is the president of PMP and a Member of the European Parliament, Radu Burnete is a presidential advisor without political affiliation, and Alexandru Nazare is the interim Minister of Finance, suspended from his position at BNR. It is expected that Nicușor Dan will organize new consultations with party leaders, considering that Romania has been without a government for three weeks, following the dismissal of the Bolojan government.
