Nicușor Dan, the independent candidate in the presidential elections, has signed the Declaration of the University of Bucharest, calling for the continuity of Romania's Euro-Atlantic direction. He emphasized the importance of maintaining democratic values, prosperity and peace in a context where these principles are being challenged. The declaration calls for commitments from the candidates to support the memory of the 1989 Revolution, Romania's membership of the EU and NATO, as well as university autonomy and freedom of expression.
