Nicușor Dan will participate, on Thursday, in the European Council meeting, where important topics will be addressed such as the situation in Ukraine, European security and defense, EU competitiveness, access to housing, migration, and the Republic of Moldova, according to a statement from the Presidential Administration. Additionally, an extended Euro Summit will take place, focused on the economic situation of the European Union, including the Economic and Monetary Union and digital euro. On Wednesday, Dan attended a working dinner with the President of the European Council and the President of Egypt. At a previous summit in October, discussions focused on European defense and security, including cyber threats and hybrid warfare. Nicușor Dan also had bilateral meetings with leaders from Sweden and Armenia, discussing collaboration in the defense industry and economic prospects in the Caucasus region.
