The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will participate on Thursday in the European Council meeting in Brussels, where the economic situation of the European Union will be discussed, among other important topics. The agenda includes issues such as the conflict in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, European security and defense, the competitiveness of the Union, access to housing, migration, and the Republic of Moldova.
Additionally, the president will attend a working dinner organized by António Costa, the President of the European Council, together with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the context of the EU-Egypt Summit, which aims to strengthen the partnership between the two entities. On the margins of the European Council, the Euro Summit will also take place, focusing on the Union's economy, the Economic and Monetary Union, as well as on digital euro.
