President Nicușor Dan will visit Germany on July 18, 2025, having meetings with German leaders and representatives of the Romanian community.

Nicușor Dan will pay an official visit to Germany on July 18, 2025, at the invitation of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The visit aims at deepening the Romanian-German dialog and strengthening strategic relations. The Romanian President will meet with Chancellor Friedrich Merz and will discuss economic cooperation in areas such as defense and energy. They will also discuss support for Ukraine, support for Moldova and strengthening transatlantic relations. On July 25-26, Nicușor Dan will also visit Austria.
