In Iași, President Nicușor Dan discussed the importance of freedom of expression in democracy, mentioning that, although it is essential, certain statements can have negative economic consequences. He emphasized that a negative perception of the governing coalition can lead to higher costs for Romania's borrowing on financial markets. Dan also highlighted the need to separate political actions from political statements. In the context of questions about changing the prime minister, he reminded of the existence of an agreement within the current coalition, which stipulates that PNL will designate the prime minister until April next year.
