President Nicușor Dan stated that he will make the nominations for the leadership of the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and the Foreign Intelligence Service (SIE) at the appropriate time.

"At the appropriate time (the nominations will be made – editor's note), because there is a dialogue between the president and the coalition parties, between the coalition parties, and at the moment when this discussion does not overlap with other discussions that are equally important for our stability, we will have it and we will resolve it. To put it very directly, we have had an influence, less from the SIE, but we have had the influence of the SRI in our political life, in decisions, in the economic area. And then the person who will lead the SRI is a person who will have power in the Romanian state." added Nicușor Dan.
