President Nicușor Dan commented on the Recorder documentary titled "Captured Justice", highlighting that while it is easy to revolt, it is more difficult to address issues within the justice system. He has started working on a report that will include data about these issues and invited judges to communicate the difficulties they have encountered. Dan emphasized that solutions must come from within the judicial system and raised questions about the lack of reports and actions in justice. He also stated that most judges are people of good faith and that it is their responsibility to get involved in solving the problems of the profession.
The Recorder documentary was criticized by the head of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Lia Savonea, who mentioned that accusations must be supported by verified facts, and the Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu, acknowledged that measures must be taken institutionally.
