At the end of the informal meeting of the European Council, President Nicușor Dan addressed the topic of appointments for the leadership of intelligence services and prosecutors' offices. He explained that the proposals for the heads of the secret services will be presented after the political discussions and the competition for prosecutors are concluded, emphasizing that the delay is an "opportunity analysis."

Regarding the candidates for the leadership of the major prosecutor's offices, Nicușor Dan stated that there are "very interesting people" and that, although he does not agree with all the opinions expressed publicly, he is optimistic about their potential to energize the institutions. Concerning the name of Marius Voineag, the president refrained from commenting, emphasizing the competitive nature of the selection procedure.
