Romanian President Nicușor Dan will hold telephone talks with European officials, including European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis, about the country's excessive deficit and the delay of reforms promised in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). Romania faces the highest deficit among the countries with excessive deficit, and Dan will seek assurances on the remaining reforms and the possible redistribution of NRRP projects. He is also expected to give more details at a press conference.
