President Nicușor Dan declared on Wednesday, when asked if he would appoint another prime minister from PNL if Ilie Bolojan is dismissed on Tuesday following the vote on the censure motion, that he cannot anticipate the outcome, but it will need to be acted upon quickly.

“For now we have a motion, it is being read today. I don’t want to get too much into scenarios. If we are there, it is evident that there is a need to act quickly, to stabilize. I will have a constructive position, sitting with many people at the table, representatives of the parties. I cannot anticipate the outcome,” said Nicușor Dan.

The censure motion titled “STOP ‘Bolojan’s Plan’ to destroy the economy,” submitted by the parliamentary groups PSD, AUR, and PACE - Together Romania, will be presented today in the joint plenary of Parliament, with a debate and vote scheduled for May 5.
