President Nicușor Dan had a meeting on Monday at the Cotroceni Palace with Claude Wiseler, the President of the Luxembourg Parliament. The two officials discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the close and constructive relations between Romania and Luxembourg, based on friendship and European partnerships. Nicușor Dan highlighted the importance of parliamentary dialogue in strengthening this cooperation. He also mentioned Luxembourg's military presence in the NATO battle group in Cincu, which contributes to the defense of the Eastern Flank. During the discussions, the need for more effective coordination in countering disinformation and cyberattacks was also addressed, significant challenges for the resilience of democratic institutions.
